The Building Independence Waiver (BI) is for adults (18+) who are able to live independently in the community. Individuals own, lease, or control their own living arrangements and supports are complemented by non-waiver-funded rent subsidies.

The Family and Individual Support Waiver (FIS) is for individuals living with their families, friends, or in their own homes, on supported living (for those over 18) including support for those with some medical or behavioral needs. This is available to both children and adults. 

 

The Community Living Waiver (CL) includes residential support and a full array of medical, behavior, and non-medical supports. This is available to adults and children and may include 24/7 support for individuals with complex medical and/or behavioral support needs through licensed services.
